Numurkah's 'Show us Ya Wheels' family fun day is now in its 12th year and once again is going to be a great day out for the whole family. The event attracts visitors from all over the country and is run by volunteers as a means of providing a unique and quality fun day out for those who love anything with wheels and those who are simply looking to have a great day out.
This year, along with the usual attractions, there will be the static car show, street parade and cruise, WW2 Mustang airplane and aerobatic helicopter flyovers, 2009 Australian unlimited aerobatic champion Paul Bennet, Dyno shoot-out, vintage tractors and swap meet. Last year was the first year for the swap meet which attracted around 100 stall holders and proved very popular with patrons, adding yet another dimension to Show Us Ya Wheels. Whip industries are back again with their hugely popular freestyle mini-bike aerial exhibition and is one event that is set to be a crowd pleaser for both young and old.
We have ensured that there are plenty of free activities for the kids that include Rocker cover racing, Box-car building competition, colouring competition, Jumping castle and face painting. The Moira miniature train will also be on site for the cost of a gold coin donation only.
Entry is only $5 per adult and $2 per child and is great value. Vehicle entry is $10 and includes entry for one person. Trophies are awarded in over 40 categories to cars, bikes, trucks, buses, tractors and more.
All funds raised from the event are donated back to local charity organisations.
