As the saying goes, a picture's worth a thousand words. I'm immensely proud of the original photography Autoblog publishes throughout the year that showcases beautiful sheetmetal at auto shows, reviews, other events, and whenever we're feeling creative (or whenever I feel like sending camera ace Drew Phillips a hot car). So with that in mind, I bring you our yearly photographic opus, though unlike previous years, you only have to click through 50 photos. There's something for everyone in the gallery above – supercars, crossovers, racecars, one-off creations, and even some drool-worthy detail shots. It's the sort of gallery that makes you sit back and think, "Man, cars really are awesome."
